Selling and releasing players

You can sell a player through the market or release him. A sale brings money, a release does not — so release a player only when nobody will buy him.

How to list a player

1. Open the player's page and press "To transfer" (player card).
2. Choose the lot type: "Auction" — bids, the player goes to the best one, or "Buy now" — an instant purchase at a fixed price.
3. Set the price. The game suggests a starting estimate and offers a few quick options below or above it. The price must be from ×0.5 to ×1.5 of the player's valuation.
4. Press "List". The player appears on the market and the lot in "Mine" → "My lots".

A lot runs for a limited time — the countdown is shown on the lot page. A lower price sells faster but brings less money.

When you cannot sell

• The player is in the starting line-up — replace him in "Tactics" first. It works the other way too: a listed player cannot be put in the starting line-up.
• After the sale the club must keep at least 15 available players. Lots that are already active count too (how many players to keep).
• A freshly bought player cannot be sold for 7 days — the button shows until which date.
• The player is in the squad of a match being played — you can list, sell or accept an offer after the final whistle. An auction that ends during the match is settled after it.

Managing a lot

"Mine" → "My lots" shows all your lots, their bids and status.

• Accept a bid — the player moves to the buyer's club at once, and all other bids on the lot are rejected.
• Reject a bid — the decision is final, and the club gets a notification.
• Unlist from transfer — the lot becomes inactive, all current bids are rejected, and the player stays at the club.

If you have not accepted any bid, when the auction ends the game itself accepts the highest bid from a club that still has the money. If there were no bids, the lot closes and the player stays at the club.

How much you receive

The buyer pays the lot or bid price. The 10% market fee is deducted from that amount — the rest goes to the club's account and shows up in "Finance".

Release

"Release" on the player's page removes him from the club without any compensation. The same limits as for a sale apply.

• For 72 hours you can bring the player back in the "Released players" section with the "Return to club" button — for 40% of his valuation.
• Other clubs cannot see him during that time.
• After that the player is deleted for good.

Tips

• Try to sell first: even a cheap lot is better than a release.
• "Buy now" suits you when you need money quickly; an auction when there is demand for the player.
• Do not sell the players your squad relies on until you have found a replacement.
