The stadium

The stadium earns money in only one way — tickets for home cup matches. So judge every stadium upgrade like this: how many such matches will I play, and how many tickets will I sell?

Where ticket income comes from

After every home cup match the club gets paid for tickets. Friendlies and away matches bring no ticket income. The income depends on three things:

  • Capacity — how many seats the stadium has.
  • Attendance — what share of the seats is taken. Wins, the club's reputation, the service team and the PR man from the staff raise it.
  • Ticket price — you do not set it directly: it rises with the stands level, the pitch quality and the floodlights.

If you play several cups in one day, the first is paid in full and each next one brings less.

Expanding the stands

A new club has a stadium with 6,600 seats. The stadium has 10 levels. Below the 3D model is one line with fans · fan coverage · reputation, and under it three upgrade rows. The first is "Expand stands": it shows the current capacity and how many seats the next level adds, and the "Upgrade" button carries the price.

Some levels add no seats — such a level raises the ticket price a little instead. What exactly the next level gives is shown in the confirmation window before you buy.

Pitch and floodlights

  • Pitch quality — from 0 to 100 in steps of 10 (10 levels). A better pitch strengthens the team's home advantage and raises the ticket price for home cup matches. A new club already has a pitch of medium quality.
  • Floodlights — 3 levels. Each level raises the ticket price for home cup matches. A new club already has the first level.

Both upgrades are bought only here, on the Stadium page, with the "Upgrade" button that shows the price. Tap the "Pitch quality" or "Floodlights" row to open a panel with every level and its effect.

The stadium name

The stadium is renamed in Identity and decor → "Stadium" — the "Stadium look" row at the bottom of the Stadium page leads there. The new name appears on matches, on the club page and on the Stadium page straight away.

  • Renaming costs money, and the price depends on the club's rank: it is more expensive in a higher rank.
  • You can change the name no more than once every 30 days.
  • The name is checked the same way as the club name: offensive and reserved words, invisible characters and look-alike letters from different alphabets will not pass.

What the stadium looks like

The top of the Stadium page shows a model of your ground. It is built from the club's data, so every upgrade and every decor item shows up straight away:

  • Stands — the more seats, the more rows and tiers. From stand level 4 the long stands get a roof, from level 7 all of them do.
  • Colours and decor — seats in the club colours, the facade, the tifo on the opposite stand, flags (with a club banner) and the legend statue come from what you bought and equipped in Identity and decor. The facade, seats, tifo, anthem and name are set up in its "Stadium" section; the Stadium page only links there. The club page's night theme switches the floodlights on.

On a computer you can turn and zoom the model and switch between day and night. Phones never load the 3D model: they show a picture of the same model. The picture is refreshed when you open the stadium on a computer; until then phones show a plan of the stadium with the same stands and colours.

You can view any club's stadium from its club page — the "Stadium" line on the "Overview" tab.

Upkeep

Every stadium upgrade increases the weekly maintenance, which is charged every Monday together with building maintenance. A big arena pays off only when the club regularly plays cup matches at home — grow the stadium together with your rating and fan base, not in advance.
