Watchlist and scouting

The watchlist is a short list of players you are following. A scout in "Staff" makes that list longer, reports changes and reveals more precise data about other clubs' players.

How to add a player

On another club's player page press "Watch", and on a lot page press "Add to watchlist". To remove him, press the same button again or delete the player in the "Watchlist". The list reserves neither the player nor any money: it is just a bookmark.

The "Watchlist" is under "Transfers" → "Market". For each player it shows fitness, form, experience and the current price if he is on the market, and the "To lot" button takes you to his lot.

Slots

The watchlist is limited: 3 players without a scout, and the higher the scout's level, the more slots. How many are used is shown at the top: "Slots: used of available".

If the scout's level drops or his contract ends, the extra entries stay in the list marked "Over the limit": the scout does not track them and there will be no reports on them. Remove someone to free a slot.

Scout reports

• The player was listed for transfer — the notification arrives if the club has a scout of any level.
• Someone is already bidding for the player — only a scout of "Gold" level or higher gives this notification. The scout does not know who is bidding or how much.

Without a scout the watchlist works as plain bookmarks — check in and look for yourself.

Fog

Without a scout the exact attributes of other clubs' players are hidden — instead of a number you see an approximate range, and talent is not shown. The higher the scout's level, the narrower the range. A scout of "Gold" level or higher, or the "Scout Office" building, reveals the exact values.

The fog applies everywhere you look at other clubs' players: on the market, among the agents, on the player page and in the pre-match briefing. The scout also raises the quality of candidates for the youth academy.

Habits

Habits are a separate kind of scouting: the analyst discovers them on the player's card. A study can fail, and then the budget is not returned (researching other clubs' players).
