Fitness, morale and form

Attributes say what a player can do. Condition says how much of it he will show today.

Four values

Scale0–100%
What it meansphysical readiness right now
Scale0–100
What it meanshow the player feels at the club
Scale0–100
What it meanshow well he has been playing lately
Mood
Scalefrom minus to plus
What it meansoverall emotional state, the sum of the player's mood

You see these values on the player card, on the "Squad" page (the "Players" menu item) and next to every player in "Tactics". A normal value is neutral; yellow and red are a signal.

Fitness

  • Drops in every match and in training. High pressing and a fast tempo burn it faster.
  • Recovers by itself every minute of real time. A medic on your staff speeds this up.
  • Below 40% a player cannot be put in the starting eleven — "Tactics" will explain why the squad was not saved.
  • In a match a tired player makes worse decisions and gets injured more often. In a live match the game highlights players with fitness below 50% — they are the ones to substitute.
  • Stamina (the attribute) decides how long a player keeps his fitness during a match.

Rest

The "Rest" button on the "Squad" page sends the players you pick on a booster rest: 15 minutes of real time, after which fitness is 100% and morale goes up a little. While a player rests, he cannot play a match. Rest costs money and has a daily limit — the price and what is left today are shown in the window. Injured players cannot be sent.

Morale

Morale rises with wins and goals scored and falls with defeats, red cards and injuries. With nothing happening it slowly returns to the club's normal level. A personal coach on your staff raises that level, and the club base gives a morale bonus at kick-off. High morale supports a player's game; low morale drags it down a little.

Form

Form changes after every match depending on how the player played: a good rating, goals and assists raise it; a weak game and defeats lower it. An injury in a match also hurts form. A player who does not play does not gain form — rotation keeps more players sharp.

Keeping the squad fresh

  • Keep a substitute for every line on the bench and replace tired players before their fitness drops below the limit.
  • Do not play several matches in a row with the same eleven and high pressing.
  • Before an important cup match, check the squad risks in the "Coach's advice" block in "Tactics" — it shows who is low on fitness.
