Team training

Team training is the main daily way to develop your squad. The first session of every day is free; a day without training is a day your squad does not grow.

How to run a session

Open "Training" → "Today".

  1. Pick a drill. The drill list can be filtered by line. Each card shows what the drill develops and which line it is for — goalkeeper, defence, midfield, attack or the whole team.
  2. Pick the intensity — "Light", "Standard" or "High".
  3. Check the forecast. Above the button you can see who trains, the expected gain, fitness after the session and the injury risk.
  4. Press "Schedule", then "Execute now". If you do not press it, the game runs the scheduled session by itself.

After the session, result tiles appear: who gained and how much.

Who trains

The players who train are those in your starting line-up from the line the drill is for. The bench and the rest of the squad do not take part in a team session. If the line-up has no players of the right line, the game warns you that the session will achieve nothing. To develop a reserve, put him in the line-up or train him individually.

Intensity

  • Light — smaller gain and minimal fatigue. Good before a match.
  • Standard — balanced gain and fatigue.
  • High — the biggest gain, but players tire more, and someone may pick up a minor injury and miss a day or two. The medical centre lowers the risk and shortens the lay-off.

The "Cardio/stamina" drill adds no attributes — it is a light load that gives back a little fitness.

Extra sessions and tokens

After the free session you can "Add session" — each further one costs one training token. No more than 10 sessions a day.

  • You can buy a token for money with the "Buy a token" button.
  • The training base gives free tokens every week — the higher its level, the more.

A boosted drill gives a bigger gain but costs one more token and money — the price is shown next to the switch. It is available for the free session of the day too.

What affects the gain

  • talent — a higher ceiling and faster growth;
  • age — young players grow faster, veterans slower;
  • the head coach and specialist coaches in "Staff", and the training base (staff roles, buildings);
  • intensity and the boosted drill.

A gain is not guaranteed for everyone: a session gives a chance, and the result tiles show what actually happened. An attribute does not grow above the talent ceiling — then the game says "Talent cap reached".

History

The "History" tab shows the sessions of the last 7 days: drill, intensity and status. If a scheduled session could not be held, it is marked as missed and the tokens and money spent are returned.

Tips

  • Train every day: the free session is the cheapest growth in the game.
  • Before a cup match choose "Light" intensity.
  • Rotate drills for different lines so you do not train just one attribute.
