Individual development
How to spend a player's experience (OPUT) on specific attributes and how the personal coach develops habits.
The experience (OPUT) players earn in matches can be spent on specific attributes. Club money is not needed here — the player pays with his own experience.
How to raise an attribute
Open "Training" → "Skills".
- Find the player's card — his OPUT is shown in the top right corner.
- Press an attribute. Each one shows the current value and the OPUT price of the next level. A red price means there is not enough experience, and "max" means the attribute has hit its ceiling.
- Confirm the spend. The attribute goes up by one — guaranteed, with no randomness.
What it costs
The higher the attribute, the more expensive each next level. Specialist coaches in "Staff" make their attributes cheaper: the defense coach — tackling and marking, the passing coach — passing and first touch, the shooting coach — shot power and accuracy, the fitness coach — clearance. The price on the button already includes the discount (staff roles).
The ceiling
An attribute cannot be raised above the ceiling set by the player's talent. The ceiling drops with age, so the experience of a young, talented player goes the furthest.
Where experience comes from
Players who take the pitch earn experience — in cup matches and in friendlies — and from some rewards. Experience belongs to the player: it cannot be passed to someone else.
Habits
In the "Traits" tab the personal coach develops players' habits.
- A habit has to be discovered first: the analyst does that on the player's card (sending the analyst).
- The personal coach raises the habit level. He can work with a limited number of players at once — the higher his level, the more slots.
- Without a personal coach, habit levels slowly drop.
- If you cancel a habit's training, its progress is lost — you will have to start from scratch.
Team or individual
They work best together: team training keeps the squad growing every day, and you spend experience precisely — on the attributes the player's position needs.
